The Strata Manager on a building in Potts Point had a need to access the exterior of the upper levels of the building. They asked Mr Scaffold to quote on the task, and our experienced Estimator inspected the building and the surrounds to ascertain the best approach to reaching the 9th and 10th floors safely and efficiently to carry out the works required. A Design was submitted, along with a quote. The Strata Manager, the builder involved in the renovations and the Mr Scaffold team were all involved in the development of a plan including the production of a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) for the scope of the scaffolding build and dismantle.
Mr Scaffold was contracted to provide access to the Northern wall of this residential building in Potts Point for the purpose of allowing access to conduct some repairs to the render on the external walls around Levels 9 and 10, and to make changes to the base of a glass roof. The Mr Scaffold team of Scaffolders delivered, and commenced the build, with the entire process of the build, check and certification in accordance with the requirements of WorkCover taking place over 3 days. There were some issues which were primarily overcome with the Stair access to the scaffold egressing in the neighbours courtyard.
